Seal of Honor (D. Rose)

Seal of HonorSeal of Honor by Dahlia Rose

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Brief novella / short story about tough SEAL stationed in Hawaii and the young barista he has a crush on. When he sees that she is pregnant, he thinks she is taken and is happy when he finds out she isn’t.

Their first date turns out to be a no-go since he gets called out on a mission. When he returns, Jordyn comes to his home and tells him her story of escape and pursuit by the family of the Russian father of her child. She has tried to escape them but, of course, never had a SEAL on her side.

This one could have been longer with more exposition; as a matter of fact, Ms. Rose, why not rewrite it, with more detail?

Nice family and nice HEA.
